Bob White AKA Mickey Mantle, a legend..I was in the academy during Labor Day 1994 and Bob was on light duty in the room and he and I did nothing but eat Chanellos and talk sports..Over the years I always liked him, just getting back to work and read the sad news..RIP Bob..Mark Roulley VBPD

Always available for coffee and conversation, he was a man of great Faith and integrity. He served his country well and proudly, but his greatest source of pride was his son. He has been promoted to be with his Lord and Savior. All of us who remain are deeply saddened by his passing. We will miss you

Bob was a good cop who never lost his sense of humor. Rest in Peace my brother.

Many of us had the good fortune to have worked with Bob while he was assigned to the VBPD Detective Bureau.  Bob was a good detective that knew how to work hard, track down the bad guy and always find time to have fun in his spare time. His service in our community and for our Nation should never be forgotten.

Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies are with the entire family and all his friends. 

We will miss him and may he rest in peace.
