Sandy was the sweetest and most likable person that I knew, and she never spoke badly of anyone. I admired her stoicism in the face of adversity, and the face that she always had a smile on her face, greeting each new day as a beautiful experience. Rest in peace Sandy, and know that your smiling face will be really missed by many. You fought the good fight and are now with God and his angels. You have earned your place among them, and I am glad to have known you.

I only knew Sandy a short time but she brightened my life and my brother's. She put up a valiant fight, and I appreciated having her here when she visited the Mayo Clinic. I hope it helps for you to know that others share in your grief.
