Sylvia Joyce Hollandsworth (nee Gibson), age 87, of Oak Lawn, Illinois passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Native of Trenton, TN, beloved wife of 70 years to Leonard Barker (Retired CPD). Loving mother of Pamela (Thomas) Van Dyke, Lori Hollandsworth, Michael (Susan) Hollandsworth, Steven (Sandra) Hollandsworth. Proud grandmother of Joseph CFD (Colleen), Michael, Jessica, Alexandra (Fiance Daniel), Matthew, and Samuel. Great-grandmother Jackson, Audrey and James.
Joyce was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held on Friday June 6, 2025 at Chapel Hill Garden South Funeral Home 11333 S. Central Ave, Oak Lawn from 10:00am until 12:00pm, with a chapel funeral service to immediately follow. Interment Chapel Hill Garden South Cemetery.
