Went back along way with "Timmie". That's what I called him; he was always such a loveable young curmudgeon. Back in 1976 when Timmie was a young programmer in the old BUSI at RRB, I was taking a DP-101 night class at Loop City College. Timmie used to review my homework. So all of you RRB alum who remember me, you now see it all began with Timmie. He was always such a happy person with chubby, cherry-red, cheery cheeks that produced an impish smile that we'll all remember. My condolences to all of Timmie's family and friends. May God grant you peace and comfort at this difficult time. Maxine Williams, former co-worker

I only knew Tim when I played a couple of years on the RRB softball team. I basically was a bench warmer but Tim always made me feel a part of the team.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Pray for him!!

My deepest condolences to the Hurley family. Tim was a good guy, whom I met years ago at the RRB, where we both worked in BIS as Computer Analysts. He always had a smile and a quiet but good sense of humor. I attended one of his CPR classes and many of the American Legion programs he helped present. It was good to have known Tim as a co-worker.

Tim:

So sad and sorry to hear of your passing. When I played on the baseball team at the Board with you, even when I screwed up, you always had an encouraging word for me; never put me down. This was unlike some of the other ##!! that never showed respect for me. But you always did. I agree with those who said you were the best of people! Heaven is lucky to be getting you. The world needs more good guys like you, especially TODAY! Condolences to and God bless your family. As a fellow Irishmen: Slanteah!

Growing up, Mr. Hurley would condone the loud music, long hair and general mischief we would drag his youngest son into. He would smile and give advice we didn't want to hear. He would ask us to be safe and always was a true man. I am proud to have known him. Heaven is a better place now. Good bless the Family and please keep them in your prayers. Love you Brian! You have made your Dad proud.
