Mom, one year ago, Allah called you home.  It's hard for a daughter to lose her mom.  I miss your comfort, your sweet smiling face, and your strong embrace.  Rahman and I sing your songs, dance your moves, and laugh your laughter.  You are with me everyday Mom and I miss the motherly love that only you could offer me.  May Allah keep you at his side and may be you be free and radiant.  We love you Mom, we miss you.

It’s been 4 months since you left mom and dad. Amaani still cries and hasn’t truly processed what happened, it’s too painful. She wishes she came to see you when I did, she wanted to apologize. You’re in our hearts, wish you stayed. 

My dad was very devoted to his faith and these were very special moments.

May Allah have mercy on her soul and grant her a high status in heaven.  I remember her always making sure we ate whenever we came to visit. She has a very caring and generous personality. 

My mom was a devoted wife, always supporting my father. I recall her starching and ironing his work shirts, making tea and breakfast for him, having dinner ready for him every evening...she spent her whole life as a wife and mother. When I was very little I remember her always dressing up and putting on lipstick before he came home from work. She tried so hard in all she did. We used to have big dinner parties and mom’s food was praised by all. I specifically looked forward to making gulab jaaman with her.  
My mom was compassionate, patient, long suffering, funny and down to earth.  She was the 2nd oldest child and took care of her younger siblings growing up.  She loved and respected her parents, always speaking in such an appreciative manner about how hard her mom worked and how her father was a school teacher. She was a great daughter.  My mom lived her life not wanting much.  She just wanted a happy family and to be shown she was valued. You were my place of comfort mom, I pray that all your pain is gone and that you’re overwhelmed with joy and love.  You deserve it all mom, I love you.
