

Marjorie Lynne Pilipchuk, 74, passed away on July 17th, 2014 at Sturgil Care Hospice Center in Brooksville, Florida. She was born on June 23rd, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Cal and Emma Adele Brooks Wulff. Marge grew up in Chicago. She graduated from York High School in Elmhurst, Illinois in 1958. After high school she attended classes at Elmhurst College. Marge had a Full and Prosperous professional life. She started her career at the Insurance Exchange of Chicago. Moved on to International Harvester where she’d first met Jim. After Harvester she moved on to Hedrickson Manufacturing then the Lyons Recreation Department. Throughout those stints Marge killed her spare time and weekends at Samac’s and Braccio’s as Hostess and waiting tables. Marge closed her professional life retiring as Activities Director at Francis Manor in Des Plaines. Marge married Jim in 1965 at Zion Church in Lyons, Illinois. They were happily married for 49 years. Marge was Queen Mum of The Florida Red Hat Mamas, Member of the Volunteer and Auxillary Fire Departments. She was active in the High Point Music and Comedy Club and the Home Owners Association. She enjoyed a variety of crafts, making costumes and dolls for family and friends, Cruises, Bowling and never met a Slot Machine she didn’t like. Marge was preceded in death by her Parents Cal and Emma Adele. Marge is survived by her spouse Jim of Brooksville, Florida; Her sons David (Jill) Pilipchuk of Countryside, Illinois, Steven Pilipchuk of Richardson, Texas and Kevin (Kathy) Pilipchuk of New Lennox, Illinois; Her Sister Beverly (Mike) Phelps of Mapleton, Illinois; Her grandchildren Bill and Jennifer, Zak and Easton and Rebecca, Robert and Jessica; Her nieces Lara Phelps Schaible, Christina Phelps and Kerry Phelps Carstens, Her Nephew Bill Phelps and Her Cousins Brad Johnson and Karen Hulstedt. Last but not least, Marge is survived by a Network of Friends too great to list. A Viewing will be held Wednesday, July 23rd from 4:30-8:30PM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois 60181. The Memorial Service will be held at same location Thursday, July 24th at 10am. Burial will follow service. There will also be a Memorial Service at High Point in Brooksville Florida.
