Shirley Carla Adams, age 89, passed away on January 26, 2025. Loving wife of the late Phillip Adams; Beloved mother of Deborah (Robert) Brainer, Edward (Cynthia) Adams, and Daniel (Yvonne) Adams; Cherished grandmother of Julie (James), Kristin, Joseph (Christine), Edward (Han Yan), and Michael; Great-grandmother of Arianna, Hayden, Logan, Anakin, Brennan, Adalyn, Gracyn, Odin, Zander, Jack, Azalea, Rowan, Evelyn, and Hannah. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth Sorensen.
Memorial Visitation for Shirley will be from 10 AM – 12 PM on Saturday, February 15, at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Danish Home of Chicago, 5656 N Newcastle Ave, Chicago, IL 60631.
