Geoff was born in Chester England in 1933. He accomplished great things in his life. Before him and his wife Ann were married in 1957, he had a motorcycle accident and broke his neck. While waiting on the street for the medical team to arrive a neighborhood woman came out and brought him a piping hot cup of tea. It seems in England a cup of tea would fix just about anything. Geoff managed to make a full recovery from his broken neck while the doctors got busy experimenting on him and finally settled on a new medical procedure that actually worked.
Geoff worked at Shell Oil Company in the daytime and attended college at night to earn his Chemistry Degree. His Chemistry Degree enabled him to be accepted to come and live in the United States of America. So in 1963, the same year the Beatles came to America, so did Geoff, Ann, six year old daughter Deborah and three year old son Kevin.
Moving to beautiful sunny California was a dream of a lifetime. Living in the San Francisco area in the city of Walnut Creek their daughter Heather was born. They bought their first house for $22,000 and were very happy.
After Five years Geoff was offered a job in the Los Angeles area and bought their second house in Newbury Park for $29,000. The family settled there for many years while the three children grew up.
Ann and Geoff moved to Oakhurst, CA in 1989 and bought their third house in the mountains. Geoff had obtained his real estate license and joined the Century 21 Golden Chain team. He loved his job as a real estate agent and enjoyed working and getting to know the other agents in Oakhurst. For Geoff it was the best job he ever had.
Geoff's wife Ann passed away in December of 2019. Geoff leaves behind two daughters and one son, as well as five grandchildren and one great grandson. In England he leaves behind his wonderful sister Maureen and wonderful brother Derrick, and in South Africa his wonderful sister Kathleen.
