Albert Behar

Albert retired from the US Air Force after serving 23 years of active duty. He was born in New York City. After joining the Air Force, he arrived in Tampa, FL in Nov 1950 where he met Doris in Dec. 1950. He married Doris Sept. 1, 1952.

They spent 60 wonderful years together before she went home to be with the Lord in 2012. Most of their lives were spent in Tampa, FL. and he considered Doris’ brothers as his Brothers. They are Robert Lane of Merritt Island, FL., Jack Lane of Land O’Lakes, FL., Jean Lane of Temple Terrace FL., and Dick Lane of Greenville, TN.

Al and Doris have three wonderful children: Michael married to Wendy living in Belleview, FL., Sherri who lives in San Clemente, CA. and William, married to Jan residing in Ft. Worth, TX. They have 10 Grand Children: Brian, Danita, Shawn, Jason, Jonathan, Briyanna, Nya, Tonya, Jennifer, Kristen, and 13 Great Grand Children.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, FL.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday June 13, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church, 1600 SE 58th Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm Tuesday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
