Betty moved to Florida in 1998 from Freehold, NJ, and worked in Housekeeping at the TimberRidge Rehabilitation Facility in Ocala for 17 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Audrey Johantgen; sister, Roberta LeNoir; son, Curtis Sanders and grandson Ethan Sanders.
Betty is lovingly survived by her husband of 54 years, Steve Sanders, children; Stephenie Smith, Linda Reynolds, Robert Sanders and John Sanders, all of Ocala, FL, and Stephen Sanders of Jacksonville, FL., 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers; Hank, Bruce, George and Joe Johantgen, and sisters; Mary Coleman and Linda George.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, FL, with visitation starting at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
