He later moved to Miami in 1994 and then to Panama City, Florida in 2003 where he graduated from New Horizons High School.
Charlie loved his books, playing video games on his computer, Anime and Manga.
He was survived by his mother, Mary Ann Washburn; brother, Joseph Gorton; half-sister Samantha Washburn; grandparents, Joseph and Elaine Alonso and aunt and uncle, Joann and Javier Arrillaga.
