Dorren J. (Pappy) Stack, 93, World War II veteran, beloved husband, father and grandfather, and a dedicated servant of God passed away at home on Tuesday, August 19th in Trenton, FL. He was born in Griffith, Indiana. After serving in the Army during WWII (Battle of the Bulge), he graduated from the University of Indiana. His career spanned 40 years at Buckeye Partners, LP where he was Manager of Everglades Pipeline Co. He also served his Lord for 40 years as Chairman of the Board at First Baptist Church of West Hollywood, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Carrie. Survivors include son Terry of Macungie, PA, (wife Darlene), son Tommy of Trenton, FL (wife Heather), and daughter Sandy of Trenton FL. Grandsons Spencer, (wife Beth) and Blake (wife Lindsey). Great-grandchildren Leah, Brennan and Calum.
Viewing will be held at 10 AM Saturday, August 23, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Trenton, FL. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to McCord-Abide International, attention Missions at ibbchurch.org in memory of Dorren.
