Edna L. Blake, age 95, of Candler, passed away April 16, 2014 at the Tuscany House in Summerfield. She was born on February 19, 1918 in Montico Bay, Jamaica, a daughter to the late William and Josephine (Rickets) Blake. She was a member of the Silver Springs Shores Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed knitting, walking, cooking and belonging to the neighborhood watch group. Survivors include a niece Stephanie Blake, nephew, Stanley Blake, daughter Paulette Mitchell, and daughter-in-love Thelma Fernander. A funeral service will be held on Monday April 21, 2014 at 11:00am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s FoundationArrangements under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, FL.
