After a quick, heart-breaking, mental and physical decline inflicted on her by dementia, Edna Frances [Taussig] Wagner, 78, died Monday, May 30th, 2022 at her home in Ocala, Florida surrounded by family.
She was born March 2nd, 1944 in East Meadow, New York to Hilda Wagner and Charles Taussig. She married the love of her life, Roy Wagner on April 21st 1961, in Miami, FL. They were married after a chance meeting on New Years Eve and a short 4 month courtship. They were together 61 wonderful years.
To Edna, her family was her life. She was a loving grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. A force of nature-- Edna had a wicked sense of humor and was the first to flip off family and friends for a good laugh. Though she will take a piece of our hearts as she journeys home, a part of her will remain with us always.
She is survived by her husband Roy Wagner Sr.; daughter, Ann Feathers; son, Roy Wagner Jr.; granddaughter, Deborah Feathers; grandson, Ryan Feathers; brother, Milo Anderson Jr.; sister, Hilda Felder; their spouses, her in-laws, and their respective children-- all of which she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Taussig; step-father, Milo Anderson Sr.; mother, Hilda [Wagner] Anderson; brother, William Taussig; and sister, Louise Herndon.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held at the home of the daughter, Ann Feathers on Saturday, June 25th, 2022. Invitations soon to follow.
