Hazel Marie Goss 97 of Ocklawaha, Florida died peacefully of old age on February 5, 2025.
She was born in West Virginia in 1927 to Lawrence and Artie Summers. One of ten children. Her family moved to Ohio when she was small child where she was raised on her grandfather’s farm. Hazel attended school in Garrettsville, Ohio graduating from Freedom High School in 1944. She was married to Calvin Goss in 1946.
Hazel is preceded in death by her husband Calvin Goss. Son in law Michael Patterson, her Father, Mother, 6 Sisters, and 2 brothers.
She is survived by her Son, William Goss, Daughter Debra Patterson, Grandson Jerry Michael Patterson, Granddaughters Jasmine Rose Goss and Ashley Danae Goss, daughter in law Michaeleann Goss and brother Bruce Summers.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 11 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Ocala, Florida. The viewing will be at 1:00pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00 and burial at 3:00.
Dinner reception to follow the burial at Hazel's.
