He was born in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico on December 7, 1952.
Juan worked in construction for many years and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family.
He was married to Carmen Cruz, who preceded him in death.
Juan had a passion for dominoes, fishing, and music. He will be remembered for his love of family, his resilience, and the time he spent with those closest to him.
He is survived by his children: Juan Cruz Jr., Jeanette Cruz, Naomi Cruz, and John Cruz;
his grandchildren: Miguel Nales, Henry Martinez, Dianne Nales, Manasia Griffin, Sasha Feliciano, Carmen Feliciano, Aniah Kasumi Santiago, Angel Santiago, Avian Santiago, Jose Pizarro.
and his siblings: Guillermo Cruz, Virginia Cruz, Rosa Cruz and Carmen Cruz.
He is also remembered by extended family and loved ones who will cherish his memory.
Funeral arrangements will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Burial will take place at 3:00 PM, with a catered reception to follow at 4:00 PM.
