Karen was born in Joliet, Illinois, on August 4, 1940. She graduated from Providence High School and later dedicated her life to a meaningful career in education, working for Belleview Elementary.
On November 4, 1961, Karen married the love of her life, Richard Kaiser, with whom she shared many wonderful years.
Karen was a devoted member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She had a passion for crocheting, needlepoint, puzzles, and gardening, hobbies that brought her joy and comfort throughout her life.
She is survived by her children, Eileen Boucher (and her spouse, Mark Horton) and Matthew Kaiser (and his spouse, Heather). She was preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia “Ginny” Kaiser, who passed on May 9, 1997. Karen was also the proud grandmother of Mikayla Kaiser and McKenzie Kaiser.
