Lawrence C. Ballard

He was better known as "Larry" to his friends. He was born in Peidmont, Oklahoma on October 12, l926, and he "Went to be with Jesus" on March 9, 2016. He was married to his Childhood sweetheart Gloria for 71 yrs.

He and his wife grew up during "The Great Depression" and they experienced many hard times during their lifetime.

He was a World War 2 Veteran, who proudly served his country. He was well known in Florida and in Georgia, as a Master Plumber. He was also a Building Contractor, who designed and built his "Dream Vision...Tiger Creek Falls Inn" right here in Tiger, Georgia.

He was a Godly man, who brought up his family "The Old Fashioned Way" using the Bible, for his instruction book. One of his favorite sayings was "Always put Jesus First and you can do Anything"...We always ate dinner at the table... as a Family...and we always said the blessing before every meal. He tried his best to be a good example, We were taught proper manners, and to respect The Lord, our Country and each other He taught us to Always Be The Best That We Could Be We were brought up in a home filled with Laughter and Love.

He was a Beloved Husband, Father, and Grand Father who leaves behind a Remarkable Legacy.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Starry Ballard, and He Was The Father of six Children: Larry E Ballard, Terry D Ballard, Lanna K Whittle, Michael R Ballard,(Deceased) Bruce A Ballard, and Dee Dee Rouse He and Gloria had 12 Grand Children, 33 Great Grand Children,and 3 Great Great Grand Children (with one on the way) This includes two sets of twins and a set of identical triplets

He was an Amazing Man....Who Will Truly Be Missed
