                You were a great role model, provider, listener and advisor.  Every time I would come home from work you would always make the time to have nice conversation with me.  At the end of the conversation, you would always advise me to pray on it, leave it in God’s hands and you will get the answer.
                  My stepfather was more than a dad to me. He had a kind heart.  He would always say to me, live up to your dreams, listen to your heart, be independent, and respectful.  
Peter was a hard- working family man who loved his family.  He would go to church every morning before he went to work. 
 His cooking was fabulous!!  No one could cook his curry coat the way he did.  
               Dad, you have been a wonderful father to me. I am blessed!!.. Your guiding hands on my shoulder will remain with me forever.  I thank you for being there for me.  For this is not the end, it simply means, I will miss you until we meet again.

Peter White was a gentle spirit with a loving nature. Peter always had great conversations with his family that would put a big smile on our face. Peter will always be remembered as an especially giving person of great character.

Genesis 1 vs 27 says, “God created man in his own image.”  When God created my stepdad Peter White, he knew what kind of man he would be.  God blessed our home with a father that He wanted us to have. Uncle Peter, my sisters and I called him was a dear and loving father to us. We became his children!

Uncle Peter never complained when he provided the necessary essentials for the home.  He became a comforter and a stronghold for the family. In his heart, he took care of the family that God blessed him with.  

Cooking was one of Uncle Peter’s favorite time. Oh, how he enjoyed cooking. He would create the most beautiful spread that was devoured by everyone.  There was always a constant laughter and talking as we all sat down to enjoy the gift of my stepdad’s hands.  In addition,  Uncle Peter’s amazing chicken soup immediately created a healing for anyone who had a cold. There wasn’t anything that he wouldn’t do for his family.  

Uncle Peter was a devoted man of God.  Going to church every Sunday was a honorable deed for him. It blessed him to be contributing to God’s house.  He was well respected and loved by his fellow parishioners.  Uncle Peter was a servant of God!

Thanks for the gift of devotion you have bestowed upon my mom.  You will forever be in our hearts.

 My grandfather has been with me on my journey of live since I was a baby. At 24 now, I can honestly say my grandfather has been a huge part of my life. He supported me in everything I did. As a good grandfather should, my grandpa thought I was the best and brightest of the bunch. He would always remark on how smart I was, and how I was going to be someone one day. He used to call me his princess, he knew just the right thing to say to cheer me up and I believed him. I believed him at his word, because that's who my grandfather was. A man of integrity, grit, and principle. I am who I am today because my grandfather was a pillar in my life. Always strengthening me, always guiding me, always loving me, always lifting me up. He was my best friend when I was little, someone I watched cartoons with and snuck ice cream out the freezer with.  And that never changed as I grew up (except the cartoons turned to action movies, and the ice-cream bowls definitely got bigger).  I love and miss my grandfather so much. I will forever miss his long Sunday talks when he spoke lightness in me and empowered me to never give up, I will forever miss his bug hugs, I will forever miss us snacking together  and sitting down and talking. My grandfather was my partner in crime, because of him I feel like I CAN conquer the world. I feel like a princess.  I love you Grandpa.

I have known Peter since I was a young child, all the way through my adult years. Peter was a giant in size with a big heart. I would call out his name every time I saw him. I loved to hear his voice, it was so powerful that it mesmerized me. Peter was hard working and had a charming persona. Peter was a doorman, the chef, layman of his church, a  handy man, friend and father. Peter had the ability to do it all and made everything look so easy. Peter made the best Rum Cake, just the way I liked it. I will miss him at family gatherings because he also made the best roast beef with a nice brown gravy. My roast beef is no match against his. I will miss Peter's stories about his childhood growing up in Jamaica and his jokes. Most of all I will miss hearing him laugh, conversations about life, and how to make Irish coffee. Peter was well rounded in his spiritual life and family. Peter will be missed by his loving family, friends and all who knew him. Peter has taken his rightful place with his Father in heaven. True legends don't die, they live on forever. Rest in Peace.

Peter White was a wonderful brother in Law. Peter was fun to be around , He was intelligent 
and full of great conversation around family gatherings. Peter did everything with his wife Roslyn. Peter loved his Church and was always willing to give advice.

Peter was my stepfather. He was more of a dad to me.  He was very family oriented  thoughtful ,and kind. Always gave me guidance and advise on everyday issues.  Peter was such a godly man, always willing to help wherever he can.   I love you and you are going to be miss.  You were a wonderful father. Thank you for all that you have done for me. Peter was a wonderful man. He was my boss  in N.Y.C  for many years, kind considerate and thoughtful, he will always have a special place in my heart. He often spoke beautifully about his wife and his lovely family. He had a very strong faith in God and I know he's in a good place. Rest in peace Peter we will miss you very much.
