Robert Keith Lane Sr.

Robert Keith Lane Sr. passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, he was 73 years old. Robert was born to Paul and Edith Lane in Welch, WV on September 7, 1948. However, Ocala was Robert's home for the past 60+ years. He worked for many years as a Stationary Engineer at MRMC in Ocala until retiring in 2013. He LOVED spending time with his children, grandchildren, siblings and extended family. He was the Dad/Grandpa/Brother/Friend that you could call anytime and he would drop whatever he was doing to come and help out. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing anything outdoors, cheesy Dad jokes and driving around in his Jeep with his beloved Boston Terrier "Larry".

He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. Those left behind to cherish his memories are his daughter Deidre Shives, her husband Steve and their two children --- Justin and Katelyn, his son Robert Keith Lane Jr., wife Bobbie and Robert's children --- Keith, Alona, Shaylynn, Angel & Michael and lastly by his daughter Renee Kreienbrink, her husband Clint and their two children --- Cole and Sydney. He will also be dearly missed by his brothers Paul Lane, Roger Lane, Jim Lane and his sister Drema Howard. Words cannot express how much he will be missed by his family, he was treasured and loved beyond measure.

Visitation for Robert will be held Friday February 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34480, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
