

She was born in Huntington, West Virginia on September 21st, 1938 to Ann and C. Harold Kitchen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Cook, who passed away in 1983.
Sally was a graduate and a big fan of the University of Kentucky. She enjoyed being actively involved in the thoroughbred race horse industry with her family. One of her many highlights included owning Sister Act, a Grade 1 stakes winner.
For over 30 years, Sally was a devoted elementary school teacher who served in Marion County at Howard Elementary, Oakcrest, Wyomina, and Shady Hill.
Sally is survived by a daughter, Cathy Cook, and a son, Jeff Cook; daughter-in-law, Tracy Cook; two grandchildren, Kamryn and Tannon. She also leaves behind her loyal dog, Beacon.
A graveside service will be on Sunday, September 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480.
