Born in the Bronx, David was a resident of Fair Haven for the past 35 years. He was a well respected Patent Attorney at Lucent Technologies for 31 years; and Gibbons Law Firm for 10 years. A Jack of all trades, David could be found most weekends working on his cars, fixing up the house, or devoting time to anyone in need of a helping hand.
David is survived by his wife Patricia Padnes, of Fair Haven, three children; Michael Padnes, of Jersey City, Kevin Padnes and his wife Lisa and son Colin John, of Fair Haven, and Kimberly Padnes, of Hoboken, brother Steven Padnes, of Glenside Pa.
A chapel service will held at 1pm on Monday May 6th, 2013, at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean Township. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lustgarten Foundation www.lustgarten.org
