James Wolf

Jim Wolf, 77, of the Cedar Village Development in Ocean Township, died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, surrounded by his family. Jim was born in Newark and grew up in East Orange where he attended Clifford J. Scott High School. He went on to earn his B.S. at Upsala College. Jim married his wife, Grace and they settled in West Long Branch for 34 years before moving to Ocean Township 6 years ago. Mr. Wolf was employed as a sales agent with the Allstate Insurance Company for 37 years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of Congregation Torat El, and the former Temple Beth Torah. Jim was actively involved in both club and recreation sports programs in West Long Branch, and he also umpired baseball. He was an avid sports fan.

Jim is survived by his wife, Grace of 51 years; his two sons, Larry Wolf of Highlands, and Marc Wolf of San Francisco, CA; and his sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Peter Polidoro of Manchester.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 9 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapel, 2130 Kings Hwy., Ocean, with interment to follow at Congregation Agudath Achim Cemetery, Neptune.
