Larisa Rotmansky, born in 1945, was an excellent example of strength and resilience. Born in Soviet Kiev at the tail end of World War 2, Larisa proved she was a fighter throughout her entire life. When she was 36, she packed her life up from the Soviet Union and migrated to the United States with two small children in tow. Once in the US, she worked as a home health aid. Taking care of others was truly a passion of hers and she did it exceptionally well. Larisa was tough as nails, hurdling many of the trials and tribulations life threw her way. She was also kind, loving, caring, and an all around beautiful soul who brightened up a room just by walking in it. She had a knack for making people laugh and in turn, making every single person she came across fall in love with her. Larisa is predeceased by her mother Basia and her father Yuriy and her husband Gidaly. She leaves behind two children, Serge and Irene, her daughter in law, Kathy, Three granddaughters, Adriana, Serena and Sonja, and one great-grandchild, Alina, whom she loved and cared for like nobody else. Larisa will be greatly missed by her family as well as the many friends she has made in the 77 years she lived.
