Nadine Iris Tiplitz

Born on July 29, 1942, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Nadine was a proud lifelong resident of the Garden State. She graduated from Battin High School in Elizabeth in 1960 and went to work for the IRS for a few years.

Her late husband, Ira Tiplitz, owned two drug stores, and she worked with him at Weisbrod’s Pharmacy in Newark, NJ in the family business for many years while raising her two kids. After he passed away in 1996, she was so proud to earn her pharmacy technician licence and work at CVS until 2020, where her dedication and warm demeanor left a lasting impression on every customer she came in contact with.

Nadine was deeply devoted to her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Ira Tiplitz and is survived by her brother Arnold Feldman and his wife Joan; son Eric and his wife Tara; her

daughter Andrea and her husband Matt; and her cherished grandchildren Ethan and Ella. Her role as a mother and Nana brought her immense joy, and she treasured every moment spent with her family around her.

Nadine found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed reading, taking long walks, playing Canasta, Mahjong and Rummikub, her exercise group, celebrating birthday dinners with

friends, traveling to new places, listening to Neil Diamond and spending time along the Jersey beaches and boardwalks. Holidays and family traditions were especially meaningful to her and anytime the family was together was what made her happy and brought her joy.

Nadine, or Deeny as many knew her by, will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, sister, Nana, cousin, aunt and friend to many. Her countless Maztah Balls and delicious Brisket will always be remembered as being made with so much love. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for those close to her leave behind a legacy of cherished memories.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 9th, 2026 at 9:00am at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels in Ocean Township, NJ. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
