

After graduating from high school, Mr. Miller was an engineer at a New York radio station prior to serving in the US Army during World War II. Upon receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, he completed radio technology training at RCA Radio School. He and his wife moved to Long Branch where Mr. Miller worked as an Electronics Technician at Fort Monmouth until retirement in 1986.
Mr. Miller was a long standing member of Congregation B’nai Sholom in Long Branch where he served a term as a President and Treasurer of the Men’s Club. He later became a member of Temple Torat El in Oakhurst.
He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor Reiter Miller, his brother-in-law Marvin Reiter and his sister-in-law Lee Reiter. He is survived by his son Robert Miller and his wife Cheryl, of Oakhurst, and a brother Alvin Miller and his wife Frances. He also had four nieces that were very important to him. Mr. Miller’s happiest moments were his family and friends and he will be deeply missed by all.
A chapel service will be held at 11am on Tuesday August 30th, 2016, at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer’s or your charity of choice.
