

She was born January 10, 1955, to Robert Ward Sr. and Frances Irene (Miles) Brooks in Loraine, TX. She graduated from Colorado City High School and later married Arthur C. Molina, Sr. on February 12, 1972, in Colorado City, TX. She was a care provider for Nurses Unlimited and a member of Westwood Baptist Church.
She comes from a long line of descendants who fought for their country in numerous wars; including Soldier McGee who fought in the American Revolution, Abraham Brooks who fought in the War of 1812, POW William Riley Brooks, Daniel Miles, George Hill, and Thomas Turner McGee, all of whom fought in the Civil War; soldiers in the Texas Republic were Robert Abernathy, Sr., and Soldier Looney, who patrolled northern Blair County which is now known as the New Boston area.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother (Ma). She also was an animal lover.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Frances Brooks, her grandson Jackson Molina, and her special little friend Chloe, a min-pin.
She is survived by her husband Arthur C. Molina Sr. of Odessa; daughters, Misty Samford & fiancee’ Jerry Holliday of Palestine, TX, Erica Arreguy and husband Danny of Odessa, son, Arthur Molina Jr of Ft. Worth; Sister, Irene Brooks McDonald & husband Randy of Alvord, TX, brother, Robert W. Brooks Jr and wife Melanie of Lubbock, TX; sister, Judy Lynn Brooks & fiancee’ James Smith of Ft. Worth, TX; and Ann Brooks Lee and husband, John of Briscoe, TX; ten grandchildren, Dustin Samford, , Christian Molina, Isaiah Molina, , Austin Robert Molina, Tiffany Samford, Alexander Molina, Brianna Samford, Jeremiah Molina, Daniele Arreguy, and Zachary Arreguy; special little friends Cujo and Carmelita, her chihuahuas, and her min-pin Cheyenne, as well as her many church family members and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Westwood Baptist Church with Rev. Weeks Dubose officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at the Loraine City Cemetery in Loraine, TX.
Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home of Odessa.
