Anna Yvonne David Howard

Services for Anna Yvonne Howard, 85, of Yukon, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Vestal officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with family is set for Friday, January 24, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Yvonne died Sunday, January 19, 2014 in Yukon. She was born December 15, 1928 in Clairton, Pennsylvania. She was the youngest of three children born to Michael and Anna David. Yvonne married Charlie Howard on March 27, 1947 in Clairton, Pennsylvania. Shortly afterwards, they moved to Odessa where they lived through 1948. She and Charlie returned to Odessa in 1952. They were blessed with four children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Yvonne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the church of Christ.

Survivors include her son Lon Howard and wife Lana of Wimberley, TX; daughters Becky Lightfoot and husband Dean of Cedar Park, TX, and Bonnie Payne & husband Michael of El Reno, OK; grandchildren Jay Howard, Tim Howard, Ben Lightfoot, Rachel Lightfoot Cobern, Jedidiah Payne, and Caleb Payne; great-grandchildren Cohen, Emery and Harper Howard.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her devoted husband Charlie; son Tim Howard; parents Michael and Anna David; and brother and sister Wallace David and Agnes Bendel.

The family requests that memorials be made to Odessa Christian School or Midland Christian School.
