He married Carol Mendoza on June 2, 1984 in Odessa. He spent most of his life working as a car painter and a shop foreman. He enjoyed BBQ’s and spending time with family and friends. He loved his football and was a Dallas Cowboy fan.
Turi was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had an amazing gift with the ability to light up a room with his smile and upbeat personality. He had a great sense of humor and sarcasm. He was always tremendously welcoming and embraced everyone with his big bear hug. Turi was a big guy with an even bigger heart; he would give the shirt off his back. He was a man of great faith and entrusted God to lead him in every aspect of his life. He was eager to help anyone in need and loved to serve others in his community, which he often did through his Knights of Columbus and Men’s Act’s Team outreach. He loved unconditionally and strived to protect all he loved.
