Mrs. Tavarez 84, of Odessa Surrounded by her loving family passed away Monday January 13, 2014 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born May 5,1929 in Tynan, Texas to Thomas & Maria Moreno. She united in Marriage to Manuel Tavarez in Odessa, Texas. She was a Catholic and a wonderful Homemaker, not only making the best food for all the family but having everyone at the house, her enjoyment and passion in life was her sewing and Crocheting for over 20 years, She is preceded in death by Husband: Manuel Tavarez, Parents Thomas & Maria Moreno. Sons; Johnny Tavarez, & Roy Tavarez She is survived by; Daughters; Lupe Carrasco ( Arturo) of Odessa, Sylvia Tavarez( Eddie) of Odessa, Eva Tarin( Reynaldo) of Odessa, Elva Tavarez of Odessa. Brother Thomas Moreno, Sister Mary Robles. 16 Grandchildren, 29 Great-Grandchildren, 1Great-Great Grandchild, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Many Friends. We the Tavarez Family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. May God Bless You All Abundantly. Pallbearers will be: Reynaldo Jr Tarin, Arturo Jr. Carrasco, Sammy Jr. Martinez, Roy Jr. Tavarez, Joshua Tavarez, and Zachary Pineda. Visitation will be held at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel Today, Wednesday January 15,2014 from 8am to 9pm with Rosary to be recited at 7pm. Mass will be celebrated at 1pm Thursday January 16,2014 at St, Joseph`s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery RoseHill Section.
