She was born March 29, 1942 to William Harrison and Cora Elizabeth (McMahan) Poitevent in Pecos. She was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Hiatt, parents, and a sister, Deana Black Poitevent.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Hogan of Dallas, daughter, Marla Permenter of New Braunfels, brothers, Richard Poitevent , Eddie Poitevent both of Odessa, sister, Beverly Partee of Anchorage, Alaska, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, April 26, 2013 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Graveside will be at 2pm Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
