Billy Ralph Harrison, 70, of Gardendale passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 9, 1945 in Wilmot, AR to Whitt & Ruth (Myers) Harrison. He married Danora Price September 29, 1977. He was a welder and welding inspector for 35 years. He was really good with the structural & design of building structures. He loved animals and enjoyed raising goats & cattle. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Frances, Margaret & Edith, brothers, Delbert & J.L. He is survived by his wife, Danora Harrison of Gardendale, son, Stan Harrison & wife Kim of Odessa, sisters, Shirley Makovec of Star City, AR, Sue Barnes of Russellville, AR, Faye Echlin of Star City, AR, (2) grandchildren, Taylor & Sean Harrison. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 12th, 2016 at the Gardendale Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery, Seminole,TX. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
