Brusse Nilsson Bevers

Brusse Nilsson Bevers, age 64, of Odessa passed away Monday night, June 25, 2012 at his residence.

Brusse was born February 9, 1948 in Denver, Colorado to Harry and Mary Bevers.

Brusse was an avid sportsman who played football for the Odessa Bronchos and Texas Tech Freshman Team, Picadors. He traded in his football cleats for a set of golf clubs and has been an avid golfer since.

Upon receiving his Masters degree in engineering from Texas Tech University, he devoted his career to the business that he loved so much, the oil and gas industry. He loved his job at John Crane Production Services and all the people that he worked with.

Survivors include his Father, Harry Bevers of Odessa, brother, Martin Aubert Bevers of Odessa, and sister Mamie Bevers and husband Tom Cummings of Arlington, TX.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, Mary Justine Nilsson Bevers.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, June 29, 2012 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Services to be conducted by Rev. Jimmy Braswell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to American Cancer Society.
