Cecilia Torres Chavez

In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved Sister, Aunt, & Dear Friend Cecilia T. Chavez. Miss Chavez 56, of Odessa, Surrounded by her loving family, passed away Tuesday April 28, 2015 at her residence.

She was born July 8,1958 in Marfa, Texas to Concepcion Jose Chavez and Anita Torres. She was a Christian Catholic and worked as a Healthcare Provider.

Miss Chavez graduated from Ector High School Class of 1976.

She is preceded in death by Parents Concepcion and Anita T. Chavez,

She is survived by Brothers; Miguel “Mike” Chavez of Odessa, Benjamin T. Chavez of Odessa, Sisters; Aurora Castillo (Fernando) of Odessa, Leonor T. Chavez of Odessa, Niece; Amanda G. Murguia (Tony) of Odessa, Nephew; Gregory C. Castillo of Odessa, 2 Great-Nephews; Fabian M. Castillo, Alejandro M. Murguia both of Odessa and a host of Cousins and Many Friends.

Visitation was held, Thursday April 30, 2015 from 8am to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10am Friday May 1, 2015 at St. Joseph`s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Rosehill Section. Services by Odessa Funeral Home
