

In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, is to be found our Beloved Mother and Grandmother Consuelo R. Hinojos. Ms .Hinojos at the age of 88 and of Odessa passed away at her residence Wednesday August 11,2010. She was born March 28, 1922 in Ojinaga Chihuahua, Mexico to Espidirion & Juanita Rubio Rodriguez. On April 21, 1940 in Ojinaga, Mexico, she united in marriage to the love of her life Mr. Bernardo J. Hinojos, and moving to Odessa in 1951 to make life with there children here becoming Church Members of St. Joseph`s Catholic Church, She became very actively involved with many organizations, such as The Catholic Women`s Organization, and the Carmelitas. Mother you were a Virtuous and Beautiful Women full of life, most of all a Prayer Warrior, very devoted to your Christian Catholic Faith, Loving and Serving the Lord to the Utmost, Thank You Mother for leading us by example, You will never be forgotten and will always be in Our Hearts. She was preceded in death by: Husband ,Bernardo J. Hinojos, Son: Bernardo J. Hinojos Jr., Parents: Espidirion & Juanita Rubio Rodriguez, Three Grandchildren: Rene Cabrera, Zacharia Cabrera, Ricci Munoz, Brothers; Ismael ,David, Armando, and Roberto Rodriguez. She is survived by five Sons: Deacon: Paul Hinojos (Dorothy);Raul Hinojos; Fidel Hinojos (Diana) all from Odessa ,Bernardo R. Hinojos III; Edward R. Hinojos (Kristine) from of Dallas, Seven Daughters: Frances R. Hinojos; Connie H. Carrasco; Rose H. Cabrera (Rudy);Rebecca “Becky” H. Rodriguez (Mingo); Aurora H. Subia (Lando), Linda R. Hinojos, Arcelia “Sally” H. Nunez (Celso) all from Odessa, Brothers; Jose Rodriguez of Pecos; Hector Rodriguez of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, Grandchildren: 48, Great-Grandchildren: 77;, Great-Great-Grandchildren: 2; A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends. We the Hinojos Family would like to take this time and with a heartfelt embrace thank each end everyone of you for all your Prayers; Floral; Food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. A special Gratitude to all the Doctors; Nurses, Providers and staff with Home Hospice, Thank you all for all the wonderful Loving Care Given to Our Beloved Mother and Grandmother, The Family is forever grateful. May God Bless You All Abundantly. Pallbearers will be Armando R. Hinojos, Ricky H. Munoz, Rudy “Dukes” H. Cabrera, Ruben H. Jiminez Jr., Michael H. Lara; and Celso H. Nunez. A Prayer Service will be held at 5pm till 7:30pm with a Rosary to follow at 8pm,Tonight Friday August 13, 2010 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 9 AM Saturday August 14, 2010 at St. Joseph`s Catholic Church with Reverend: Mark Miller officiating, Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Rosehill Section.
