Francisca Terrazas

Francisca Terrazas was born March 9, 1930, in Marathon, Texas to Matilde and Teodora Garcia. She moved to Monahans in 1965 and then to Odessa in 1999. Francisca passed away on Wednesday, July 06, 2016 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Francisca Terrazas was preceded in death by her husband Sebastian Terrazas; and sons Felix “Billy” Terrazas, Thomas “Tommy”, Gregory “Greg” Terrazas; and daughter Dora Terrazas, sisters, Sara Aguilar and Cruz Garcia and Dominga Aguilar;Francisca is survived by her sons, Esmundo Terrazas of Monahans, Alfredo Terrazas and wife Cruzita of Taylor; daughters, Janie Attaway and husband Ray of Odessa; Dola Sanchez and husband Rocky of Houston; brothers; Jesus Garcia and Porfidio Garcia both of Monahans, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Francisca was a loving and giving person. She loved to quilt and give them away. She had a collection of miniature sewing machines. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at 10 am Friday, July 8, 2016 at Crossroads Fellowship Chapel. Burial will be 2pm Friday, July 7, 2016 at the Monahans Cemetery.
