Hortensia P. Vazquez

She was a fun loving devoted mom, grandma, and best friend. She had a big heart with enough room for everyone she met. She was the type of person who gave so much of herself and never asked anything in return. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandkids, who loved their ”Gram” very much.

She is survived by her four children, Manuel S. Vazquez Jr., Melissa Vasquez, Rene Vazquez, and Amber Vazquez, and her four grandkids, Raquel Vazquez, Joseph Vazquez, Natalie Vazquez, and Jeremiah Vazquez.

She is also survived by her two brothers, Luis Paz, Jesse Paz, six sisters, Manuela Gonzales, Vasillea Hermosillo, Ernestina Morales, Virginia Tarango, Linda Olivas, and Mary Helena Castillo. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elisa Ybarra.

We would like to thank everyone for their support and condolences in this difficult time.

We will miss you Mom and you will always be remembered in our hearts for the loving, selfless, and kind person you were.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Paul Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in the Los Angeles section.
