Jackie "Jack" Wayne Maynard

Mr., Maynard was born March 27, 1943 in Odessa, Texas to Linton and Nila Maynard.

Jack was preceded in death by his Parents; Linton and Nila Maynard, Wife; Ruth Ann Boyd Maynard, Son; Jeffrey Warren Maynard, Daughter; Pamela Eileen Maynard and Brothers; Charles and C.R. Maynard.

Mr. Maynard was survived by his Sons; Jackie Wayne (Christie) Maynard of Navasota, TX, John William Maynard of Midland, TX, Jason Wade Maynard of Mertzon, TX, and Justin Ward Maynard of Odessa, TX, Daughter; Stacy Lynn (David) Ellis of Odessa, TX, Brother; Kenneth Maynard of Marble Falls, TX and Sisters; Joyce Seymour and Linda Harris both of Boise, ID, 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.

Jack served in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War and was a Police Officer for Odessa Police Department from 1968-1971. He later retired as a Warehouse Supervisor from Huntsman Corp.

The Maynard family request donations for Northside Senior Center or Hospice in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, October 14, 2014, 9am-5pm.

Service will be held at 10am Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery – Peaceful Gardens Section.
