

Janette was born on November 9, 1945 in Paris, Texas to parents Elmer and Marian Wade. She attended school in Odessa, and graduated from Permian High School in 1964. She graduated from X-Ray Technician School in Austin, Texas, and moved to Dallas where she worked at Baylor Hospital, and with Dr. Callewart, an orthopedic surgeon.
She married her husband, Dwaine Cox, and moved back to Odessa and opened their restaurant, The Permian Basin Hamburger Co in downtown Odessa in 1978. She enjoyed visiting with customers at their restaurant, and she enjoyed living out in the country with her family. Her full of life personality will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Marian Wade, and her brother Dale Wade.
She is survived by her husband, Dwaine Cox of Gardendale, son, Michael Cox of Gardendale, and daughter, Meghan Cox of Gardendale, brother, Jerry Wade and wife Karon of Roundrock, Texas, uncle, Don Ragan of Early, Texas, and aunt, Kathryn Nelson of Lavon, Texas, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a private memorial service for family and friends at a later date.
