Jon Barton Dungan

He was born December 25, 1939 to Floyd Dungan and Margaret Barton in Odessa, Texas. He married Esther Dungan December 29, 1983 in Seguin, Texas.

He was the owner of a Pawn Shop. He was an Army Veteran stationed in Korea.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered, missed and loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Zane D. Spruill and a grandson, James E. Gordon.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Dungan, son, Edward Gordon and wife Tina, daughter, Denise Sawyers and husband Jimmy all of Odessa, daughter, Mary Dawson and husband James of Benton, Arkansas, ten grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6 pm-9 pm Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Scott Owens officiating.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Gordon, Gordon Spruill, Jonathan Spruill, Zane Spruill, Dylan Bellesheim and Jay Hughes.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Home Hospice or American Cancer Society.
