

Karl William Wikelski, 84, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born June 22, 1931 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Karl E. & Lydia Wikelski. He graduated from Leavenworth High School and received his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Valparaiso University in 1953. He was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity at Valparaiso University. He married Sue Youngblood August 4, 1962 in Orange, TX. He was a retired mechanical engineer for Rexene.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his four legged companion Satchmo. He is survived by his wife, Sue Y. Wikelski of Odessa, sons, Todd Wikelski & wife Ellen Fisher of Fort Collins, CO, Timm Wikelski of Dallas, sisters, Delores Landfair & husband Bill, & Janet Lindgren all of Dallas, (2) grandchildren, Josephine Lydia Wikelski of Notre Dame, Indiana, Fredrick Wikelski of Dallas.
He will lie in state at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, March 18, 2016 at Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord with Rev. Larry Hood officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
