She was born September 13, 1925, to James L. and Lucille Ruth (Areman) Sigmon in Smithland, IA. She was a retail sales clerk.
She is survived by her daughter, Bethene Rich and husband, Steve of Monument, CO; brother, Robert Sigmon and wife, Verna of Iraan, TX; and sisters, Clementa Sigmon of Odessa, and Eula Gustafson of Spring Valley, CA.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Hickory Creek Cemetery in Springdale, AR.
