

Linda was born on December 22,1947, in Fort Stockton Texas, to Antonio and Delia Gonzales.
She grew up in West Texas and carried with her a strong sense of family, warmth, and resilience throughout her life.
On May 7, 1974, Linda married Herbert “Don” Gunn. She never remarried and remained devoted to her family and the life they built together.
Linda was a homemaker with a true zest for life. She loved to bake her special bread and cookies at 3am in the morning.
She worked as Surgical tech for Dr. Sheets in Odessa, TX. She loved to knit and crochet. She was a dedicated volunteer,
known for her enthusiasm for drag racing and her involvement in many community activities.
Linda was known for her generous spirit, her willingness to help others, and her love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hebert Don Gunn; parents, Antonio and Delia Gonzales; her brother, Raymond Gonzales; her son, Don Gunn; and her beloved dog, Dart .
Linda is survived by her sisters, Betsy Sweeney and her husband Arthur of Azle, Texas; Patsy Allen of Denton, Texas; Barbara Whittenburg of Lubbock, Texas; Monica Perez of Odessa
and brother, Tony V. Gonzales, Jr. of White Oak, Texas, grandsons, Curtis Brewer and Donald Gunn.
She also leaves behind her grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service and Visitation will be held on December 29, 2025, at 10 am o’clock in the Odessa funeral home chapel
at 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, TX 79761.
