

1944 to Catarino R. Patino (Father) and Matilde R. Orona (Mother) who he proceeds in Death. Surviving
siblings were: Jose Patino (Elva), Richard Patino (Teresa), Catarino Patino Jr. (Sherly) and Lupe Patino
Madrid.
Luis was Retired from the City of Odessa where he served 20 years and then followed to Retire again
from Ector County School District. Our Dad, Brother, Son, Grandpa, and friend had many loved ones who
care deeply for him and will miss him dearly. Luis left memories for a lifetime one many can remember,
he enjoyed dressing sharp and loved to wear his stacies. Luis was a Huge Dallas Cowboy Fan and enjoyed
making tic tocs with his Grand Children. Luis will be missed!
As many know Luis fell ill to the horrible Alzheimer’s/Dementia Disease, that slowly took his life, along
side of him was his Sister Lupe who for a short period helped to care for him then his Son Israel and
Daughter In-Law Brenda for the last six years of his last moments. In the end he joined a Nursing Home
where he spent a year till his fight was over.
Luis leaves Daughters: Norma P Valencia, Maria Teresa P. White (Bill), Sons: Luis C, Patino JR, Reynaldo
C. Patino, (Cecilia), Israel C. Patino (Brenda), Jose luis L. Patino, Robert Lee Patino (Candace), and (34)
Many Beautiful Grandchildren, along with (28) Great Grandchildren. Lots of nieces and nephews and
many friends who will miss him very much.
A visiation for Luis will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2633 Conover Ave, Odessa, Texas 79763.
Luis will be laid to rest in Ector County Cemetery, 300 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, Texas 79761.
