Manuel was a simple, kind, considerate and giving man, an excellent husband and a great father. He enjoyed country life, working in his garden, and riding his big farm tractor. He enjoyed watching Westerns and Spanish comedies, wood working, listening to Spanish oldies, and spending time with friends and family. Manuel was a furniture repairman until his retirement in 1993. He was a Jehovah’s Witness since 1952, most recently a member of the South Spanish Congregation, and he previously served as a congregation elder.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 66 years, Magdalena Soto Beseril of Odessa TX; six sons and two daughters: Fernando Beseril of Mineral Wells, TX; Christina Sanchez of San Angelo, TX; and George Beseril, Corina Molina, Alfredo Beseril, Tomas Beseril, Ruben Beseril and Julian Beseril, all of Odessa. He is also survived by his sisters: Josefina Badillo, Beatrice Perry, Anita Melendez, Gloria Madrid, and Rosario Beseril. Manuel was the proud and beloved grandfather of 21 Grandchildren and 35 Great Grandchildren.
Our dear “Viejo”, “Pops”, Grandpapa”, and “Indio Apache” will be missed. We can’t wait to see him in the restored earthly Paradise! (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:9-11). A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1750 E. 87th St., Odessa, TX 79765.
