

Marty Lane Dixon, 65, of Odessa went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at his residence. He was born October 7, 1946 in Duncan, OK to Marvin Kelly & Marie (Shaw) Dixon. He graduated from Duncan High School. He graduated from Central State College. He was part owner of Dixon & Riddle, P.C. Certified Public Accountants. He was active in the Permian Basin Mission Center and his church, Kingston Avenue Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his (4) daughters, Susan Dixon Boyer & husband, Jeff of Duncan, OK, Sandra Dixon Fisher & husband Larry of Duncan, OK, Tammy Taylor Roubik & husband Jeff of Dallas, Tara Taylor of Memphis, TN., brother, Terry Dixon & wife Shirley Kay of Duncan, sister, Shirley Carlson of Odessa, (6) grandchildren, Stephen Lemons, Christopher Lemons, Lauren Dixon, Crystal Foster & husband Dillon, & Kayla Fisher all of Duncan, OK, & Hannah Roubik of Dallas, & (4) great-grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces & nephews, Lisa Carlson Roberts & husband Larry of Apache, OK, Melody Carlson Hemmingway, & Randy Carlson & wife Amber all of Duncan, OK, Rick Dixon of Gainesville, TX, and his business partner for 34 years, James Riddle & wife Carolyn of Odessa.
There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Kingston Ave. Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Trant & Rev. John Taylor officiating. Graveside services will be at the Resthaven Memorial Park in Duncan, OK. 10 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2011.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kingston Ave Baptist Church Youth Fund, Home Hospice, Permian Basin Mission Center, or MDA/ALS Fund.
