Michael Lee Howard

Michael “Mikey” was born on September 10, 1983 to Janie Nunez Howard and David Howard. He attended schools in many different states, because his dad was stationed in different places. When Mikey was 15 yrs. of age, he moved Pecos, TX.

In 1998, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and earned a certificate as an Electrician Apprentice in 2009. Later Mikey moved to Odessa, TX; where he lived until he earned his heavenly wings.

Michael was a kind hearted, laid-back person who loved heavy metal music and concerts.

Mikey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jose and Ageda Nunez and his grandmother, Elfida Howard.

He is survived by his mother, Janie Howard; his father, James D. Howard (Marlene); sisters, Tiffany Howard Bautista (Michael), Jessica Howard and Isabelle Howard; a nephew, Maverick Bautista; a girlfriend, Cathy Urias; a daughter, Emiri Howard; five sons, Ian Howard, Iran Howard, Josiah Bujanda, Vicente Bujanda and Jayden Bujanda; grandfather, Calvin Howard and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Odessa Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Odessa Funeral Home.
