Patrick Leotwaine Jenkins, age 43 of Odessa, passed from this life on Tuesday May 17th at his residence. He entered this life in Lockney, Texas on August 17, 1978. Born to Melvin Jenkins and Catherine Jenkins Montgomery. He went to Permian High School but did not complete, becoming a Dad at an early age having to drop out to raise his two boys. He married Elisha Powell Jenkins in 2016 where they separated. He was an oilfield worker at Tri W. Solutions here in Odessa, TX.
Patrick enjoyed watching football whom he loved was Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed basketball and his favorite team was San Antonio Spurs. He loved being with family and friends and sons and his only grandson.
Preceded in death by Grandparents James Montgomery and Venora Montgomery (Rollie), Uncle Douglas Ray Montgomery. Aunts Joyce Alexander Montgomery, Carol Monroe Montgomery. Great grandmother, Aria Montgomery, Great grandfather Sidney Montgomery , cousin Tyrona Machella Montgomery and a host of aunts and uncles, Aunt Rochelle and Aunt Renee Montgomery, Beatrice Montgomery Roberson all are from Odessa TX, Aunt Gladys, and Aunt Nina Bee, Uncle Bubba, Uncle Howell, and Uncle Sidney all from Thrall, Texas. Aunt Elnora from Taylor, Texas.
Those left to cherish are his Mother, Catherine Jenkins Montgomery (Odessa, TX) Father, Melvin Jenkins (Austin, TX) Son Patrick Leotwaine Jenkins Jr. and Kayden Ray Jenkins of (Odessa, TX). A visitation for Patrick will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Greater St. John Baptist Church, 212 S Muskingum Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761.
Patrick will be laid to rest at his Home Residence .
