

She was born on August 8th 1929 to Calvin Homer and Margaratte King of Shamrock Oklahoma. Pat was one of seven children.
Pat married the love of her life William Calvin Burke on November 23rd 1945, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. They shared fifty-nine years side-by-side. Pat and Calvin raised their family in Odessa Texas and owned and operated Globe Cleaners for 22 years.
Pat lived her life for Jesus, and was such a wonderful example of a Godly woman. She lived her life with the truth that love covers all. She valued and treasured friendship and family. Her family rises and calls her blessed and believes she was a great example of a Proverbs 31 woman. Pat’s home was always filled with friends, family, faith, fellowship, forgiveness, love, laughter, grace, and a lot of coffee.
Pat was proceeded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 4 brothers, one grandson, and one great-grandson. Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. More than anything, Pat loved her family each and everyone. She was affectionately known as “Grandma Burke” to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and all of their friends.
She is survived by her daughters Patsy Berry and husband Jay of Kyle, Texas, Debbie Vaughan and husband Scott of Midland, Texas, and Donna Vaughn and husband Ronnie of Midland, Texas. Ten grandchildren, Corey Harrison, Cari McNutt and her husband Clint, Brian Vaughn, Meredith Ketter and her husband J.R., Jason Jumper and his wife Leah, Derrick Berry and his wife Kelsi, Jaden Berry, Jennifer Harris, Steve Jumper and his wife Kristi and Stephanie Olssen and her husband Eric and Sixteen great-grandchildren.
Pat’s other enjoyments in life was spending time with her Sunday school class, bowling, sewing, reading, and she loved teaching the second grade Sunday School class at Immanuel Baptist Church. More than anything she loved to visit with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers are Corey Harrison, Brian Vaughn, Jason Jumper, Jaden Berry, Derrick Berry and Clint McNutt.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 25th from 5 - 7 p.m. at Frank Wilson Funeral Home of Odessa Texas.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, January 26th 2015 graveside at Sunset Memorial Gardens with a Memorial service honoring her life at First Baptist Church in Odessa at 11 a.m.
The family would like to give special thanks to Bill and Dorothy Cook for many years of friendship.
