Richard Dean Collier

He was born July 10, 1935 to Archie and Gladie Collier in Goldthwaite, Texas.

He was a rural letter carrier for 29 years. He was a Korean War veteran service with the Air force as a B29and B50 mechanic. He met and married the love of his life, Kathryn on January 11, 1997.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son; Timothy Collier, and a grandson, Ronnie Meroney.

He is survived by his wife Mary Kathryn Collier, daughter, Melissa Drury and husband John of Phoenix, AZ., step-daughters, Sarah Kasky and husband Cliff of Hillman, MI., Janice Rodriguez and husband Robert of Midland, step-sons, Bobby Meroney of Odessa and Carl Meroney and wife Melinda of Odessa, brothers, Jerry Collier and wife Elaine of Abilene, and Millard Collier and wife Bonez of Cleburne, TX., ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Miller officiating.
